Roku has previously partnered with other TV brands to incorporate its Roku streaming platform. However, in 2023 Roku introduced its in-house Roku Select and Plus Series TVs.
Following that in the lead-up to the 2024 CES, Roku revealed that they were adding to its TV line-up with Pro Series MiniLED QLED TVs, but they didn’t bring any pre-production units to show at CES.
As mentioned in the Pre-CES announcement, Roku’s Pro Series TVs are LCD-based 4K UHD QLED TVs with Mini-LED with local dimming, with Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ support.
On the audio side, the Pro Series TVs all include Dolby Atmos decoding, side-firing speakers, and waveguide tweeters. For a fuller home theater audio experience, Roku Pro Series TVs are also compatible with the Roku wireless soundbar, wireless surround speakers and wireless subwoofer.
Roku Pro Series TVs include a redesigned remote (more detail later in this article).
