Podcast: Sony is Bringing the Cinema Home with 2024 BRAVIA 4K TVs and Soundbars

Sony says, “Cinema is Coming Home” but is that true or just marketing hype? Join us on the podcast and find out.

On April 17, 2024 Sony introduced its new 2024 line of BRAVIA 4K TVs, Soundbars and Theater speakers. We take a deep dive into the product launch with eCoustics Founder, Brian Mitchell and Editor at Large, Chris Boylan who got a hands-on tour of all the new products last month at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles.

I am holding out for the Itty-Bitty-Teensie-Weensie-LEDot-Direct-Dark-Screenie©™ method of picture projection as well as the latest version of Atmos, the gnu Accoustic Maze of the 76 speaker Dolby Fatmos©™ SaladBar!

But in truth, I very much enjoyed this podcast gentlemen. I am finally enjoying my rather pedestrian (but to me it is now, “WoW!”) Hisense U8 65″ 4kTV and am actively looking for a new 65″ set for my daughter and her family. Since I am giving it to them as a present it will have to be affordable to me so I may go with the same Hisense I have in either 65″ or 75″ models or Kow-Tow to the spAmazon and get them the Vizio Quantum PRO in either the 65″ or 75″ version.

They are sports enthusiasts so I want them to enjoy their misguided appreciation of overpaid athletes as well as droll yet subliminally sintertaining Disney+ fare.

I’m not bitter. I am REAL bitter. 😉

These new Bravia TVs are temptingly beautiful and technologically fantastic and it is nice they settled on the name “Bravia”. It makes sense because Bravia means Sony quality.

Please pardon any and all errors here and elsewhere throughout the site as I am barely human of late, feeling more like “Father” on the late and apparently enjoyed only by me, series “Raised By Wolves”.

My younger brother just bought a new Sony A7000 Soundbar to replace his defective Onkyo AVR. No more tower speakers for his home theater setup. I am certain he and his wife will enjoy it. He watches (and owns!) a great many Blu Ray Concerts as well as baseball, football and ice hockey games.
