The hills are alive with the sound of Goldmund? Does Julie Andrews know? So far in 2024, Goldmund has introduced the Theia, Rhea, And Asteria Wireless Speakers, Pulp + Hub Set Wireless Speaker System, and Telos 690 Integrated Stereo Amplifier.

Following up with those product introductions, Goldmund is adding a new stereo power amplifier to its product line-up, the Telos 800

The Telos 800 is designed to deliver all the power needed to drive any set of passive loudspeakers. Offering significantly more power output than the Telos 690, the Telos 800 enables listeners to use large speakers without sacrificing any of their capabilities or quality.

Tip: For best results, Goldmund suggests pairing the Telos 800 with the Tethys loudspeakers and the Mimesis Signature preamplifier

With an output of 300 Wrms (x 2) at 8 ohms and 390 Wrms (x 2) at 4 ohms, the Telos 800 is a leap forward in Goldmund’s offerings, presenting a formidable stereo amplifier capable of satisfying even the most discerning audiophile consumers.

To support its power output and audio quality, the Telos 800 incorporates a 3200 VA toroidal power transformer and an impressive capacitor bank of 93,600 µF. Compliant with IEC 62368-1 standards on rated power consumption, this amplifier delivers remarkable efficiency and power, rivaling the performance of two mono-power amplifiers.

With a distortion rate of less than 0.05% across IMD and THD+N measurements, and an output noise floor below 3 μV from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, the Telos 800 promises an immersive listening experience with impressive sound reproduction. With a dynamic range of 110 dB and a damping factor of 600 at 1 kHz / 8 Ω, subtle sound nuances are delivered precisely with clarity.
