The WiiM Pro Plus has a better app and the EQ is certainly handy. I think the StreamMagic app works just fine but it’s a step behind the WiiM. The industrial design differences are a non-factor because neither has a screen to view album art and they are both small enough that you can hide them within a rack or even on a bookshelf.

The MXN10 offers a fuller sounding presentation and greater low end heft. The Pro Plus is a more neutral sounding streamer. I bought both for very different sounding systems. Can’t go wrong with either, but I think the Pro Plus is a better buy for the money.

Inquiring minds want to know, is the MXN10 worth the premium over the WiiM pro plus? It seems everyone loves the Wiim for its price, software interface and the equalization options. Perhaps the MXN10 is more aesthetically pleasing from an industrial design aspect?
