We have been rather active participants in Record Store Day over the past few years delivering coverage from 3 countries and 7 cities. It has become part of our social calendar and expect to see us in November standing outside our favorite record stores once again looking for those 4-5 titles that everyone else seems to want. The prices and scarcity of some titles are still sore topics which we discussed on a recent podcast. Record Store Day Black Friday 2022 is 2 months away and Craft Recordings are already sending out release notices.
The Craft Recordings Record Store Day Black Friday 2022 lineup is definitely more diverse this year and we are excited to see that Kevin Gray who joined us on the eCoustics podcast to discuss the Blue Note Tone Poet reissues that he worked on

Perhaps the “Jazz Dispensary” recording? It reads as though it may well be like the old late Sunday nigh radio program on San Diego’s KGB, “The Electronic Space Bridge” or some similar ‘tarded out hippy name. If so, fine. I may give it a go.
I am too much my mother’s son in that I most often prefer REAL Jazz and Jazz/Popular Music Vocalists with, dare I say it? Talent. Which is why I read you and the others here. Talent on loan from the Most High, indeed.
I also enjoy Record Store Day. 🙂
In all ways and for always, be well my friend.
